German and French support is available from version 1.6. Availability of the update depends on App Store review and release.

Enter numbers
Select a cell and enter a number or pencil note. For continuous input, select a number first and then tap multiple cells.
Get a hint
Tap the lightbulb to see a suggested cell and the reason behind the hint.
Frequently asked questions
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your grid, pencil notes, history, statistics, and settings are saved on your device. Resume from Continue or History.
Do I need Game Center?
No. Regular puzzles work offline. Game Center is optional and is used for the daily score leaderboard.
How can I share a puzzle?
Copy or share the 8-digit game number from the game screen. The other player enters it in Open Game Number. Each player needs the app on their own iPhone. Progress is not synchronized in real time. Custom puzzles cannot be shared with game numbers.
Can I enter a paper puzzle?
Choose New Game, then Create a Custom Puzzle, and enter its given numbers manually. The app checks that it has exactly one solution before starting.
When does the daily puzzle change?
The puzzle and its leaderboard reset daily at 15:00 UTC, which is midnight in Japan. The same puzzle is available worldwide.
Can I transfer my saved data?
Use Settings to export your data as a file and restore that file on another device. Restoring replaces the app’s saved data on the destination device; export a backup first.
How do I change the app language?
The app follows the language selected in iOS. In iOS Settings, open the settings for Nagi Sudoku and select Language if this option is available. German and French require version 1.6 or later.
